Stages of Sleep.
Typical sleep cycle lasts about 90-120 minutes. Let’s take a deep dive in two core stages of sleep.
Non-Rapid Eye Movement- This is further divided in 3 stages. Your body is active in this stage hence, one may do sleepwalking. You may dream but these dreams are realistic.
Rapid Eye Movement- This is second stage. Your eyes move rapidly in this stage. In this stage brain is hyperactive. Your body becomes completely paralyzed and also you dream unrealistic and something creative in this stage.
Do you know? Thomas Edison used to sleep on the chair, with ball bearing in his hand. Moment, he shifts from NREM to REM sleeps his body used to become paralyzed as mentioned above and the ball bearing used to fall down, making a loud noise. He used to wake up and note down what he thought of, in dreams on paper kept on the table. This helped him to do many inventions.
Research says, some birds even sleep with one eye open, as half of their brain is alert while the other is asleep (It's known as:Unihemispheric Slow-Wave Sleep- USWS)- Parrots, Mallard ducks and Frigate birds are few of them. They mostly do this when they migrate for long distance. However, they do sleep when they are in troops.
Sources- Cornell university- New York
Monkeys/Apes sleep on tree don’t have REM sleep. Because if their body becomes paralyzed, they will fall from the tree.
Dolphins and Whales are the types of fishes who have to come out of water to breath, so that they survive or they will die while they are sleeping. They sleep with half brain active come on the top of the water and again go inside.

What’s Cooking with Gen Z (aka Zoomers) today?
In today's world, it has become a challenge to cut screen time. Studies have shown, people who spent more time using devices like TVs, tablets, computers, and gaming consoles were at a higher risk of developing problems like aggression, anxiety, and low self-esteem later in life.
Here are few effective tips which will help you to balance your digitel life and cut down screen time.
Before one start approaching on reducing a screen time, they need to analyse hows their pattern to spend time. Could be, whether its over TV, Tablet, I- Pad, Laptop or mobile. If it’s on a mobile, one can turn on screen-time tracker. It’s present in Android as well as on iPhone devices. By turning on this settings, your mobile will present a report every end of the day showing the analytics of how-much time was spent and which app was utilised more. This gives you a clear picture and helps to setup realistic goals.
Straight to the Point:
Let's establish no screen hours as in no to Phones, TVs and your Lappy. Perhaps, take a walk or me time outdoors without a screen gadget.
Not necessary to look at the screen if an advertise is played in between your favorite video. Just look away from screen until you have an opportunity to skip, its again an opportunity to give your eyes a quick break.
Tech-Free period can be referred as one spending time with family. Could be, Alen discussing about the recess prank with his parents in dinner table conversations rather watching a TV while dining. It’s a strong family-emotional moment.
Turn off unnecessary notifications- Its commonly ignored but to be very impactful. We check our phone on beep, hoping it’s an important message. However, it turns out to be some random notification which doesn’t matter to you anyway. But screen time increases when you start taking steps towards other stuffs in your mobile leads to involve some-more, notification was just a start point. This prepares our subconscious mind to keep checking and its been observed that people check phone messages even though they are not expecting replying from anyone.
Switching to audio books and listening to podcasts, rather watching will straight cut down screen-time to half. Whether you’re walking, cooking, or commuting, listening instead of watching a screen. It’s indeed a smart move.
Thats it! Let's pencil it in and take a first step if any of the above point which talks about sense to you. I am slowing down my fingers tried to keep an article crisp to match my theme by keeping screen-time limited.
I am taking a week break and See ya in my next Sunday drop. Till then you keep rolling. Cheers!

If I ask “What is Success, for you?”
You will probably pause, scratch your head and utter
something aspirational. However let me tell you, this was not the same couple
of years back. And never going to hold the same after couple of years. Let’s
park this aside…
Do you know when you are 1 year old your success is simply to stand on your
feet, when you were 4 years old success is managing not to wet your your pants
whereas, when you are 8 years old success is knowing the way back home.
Similarly at the age of,
10 years- Know how to ride a bicycle
21 years become a gradate
30 years get married
35 years become a family person
45 years to earn decent money, yet look young
60 years live healthy and illness-free life
75 years to have an old friend to share old stories and
achievements
Now life take a U turn, when you are 80 years old, success
is to know the way back home, when you are 85 success is managing not to wet
your pants whereas, when you are 91 success is to stand on your feet.
Definition of success changes at every stage of life and you
reach where you started. It called Chakra (kind of a circle). It ends where it
begins from, to complete itself.
You are Fantastic, Unimaginable creature with full of
potential at every age and stage. Cheers!

We have often seen infinite stories of bread and butter. However, today let’s see how we can relate this deeply to each one of us. In everyday life you are the bread and the butter on the top represents your environment. Now environment can be defined as climate, people with whom you deal, place where you live- (Workplace, College, Commuters), physical things around you and many more which influence you daily.
Here, core focus is on your attitude towards your surroundings. If you are cold, surrounding is unlikely to support your growth and potential to be a superlative. However, when you bring warmth—positivity, openness, and energy—you can draw the best from your surroundings and move closer to becoming the best version of yourself.
Let’s not forget. Too much intensity can overwhelm the situation. Strive for warmth, not heat—enough to make things better, not to burn them.

Let’s study and analyze closely how decoy pricing operates through this case study:
Steve is a retired Navy Officer. He has a stall, where he sells watermelon juice at Miami beach, Florida. He offers 3 sizes of juice Glasses. Price of each, unit is as per below:
Small- 100 ml- $ 2.5
Medium- 200 ml- $ 6.5
Large- 400 ml- $ 7.5
It was seen that the sale of the large cup was high followed by the small cup and there were very few customers who used to opt for the medium one. Steve thought, that there is no use of offering a medium glass as no one is willing to buy. He removed it kept only 2 options- Small- 100 ml- $ 2.5 and Large- 400 ml- $ 7.5
Guess what? nobody purchased a large glass. There was a remarkable shift to the purchase of small glass of juice.
Let’s take a deep dive, what did Steve learn in this product listings. When he started selling Small glass of juice 100 ml for $ 2.5 & Large- 400 ml for $ 7.5 his customers thought that the large one is way too high priced, so they only purchased the small one.
However, in the previous case when Steve was offering 3 options- Small 100 ml for $ 2.5, Medium 200 ml for $ 6.5 and Large 400 ml for $ 7.5, customers thought why to buying Medium 200 ml for $ 6.5, if we are getting 400 ml (Double) just by paying $ 1.5 more. Thus, they opted for the Large one because price seems to be cheaper with double quantity as compared to medium one.
Steve listed the medium glass again in the category, because medium glass helps customers to take decision of buying the large one that's the only role of the medium size of watermelon juice.
Note- In an open market usually we see that the large size products are listed at way higher and offered discount which is almost slightly high than the mid one offered to the customers. This directs customers to buy the top notch or the premium one and companies with the luxury brands also follow the same pattern to drive their revenue.
Moral: Decoy priced product looks justified as compared to other listed products.
If you lie,
Lie in the arms of the one you love.
If you steal,
Steal away from bad company.
If you cheat,
Cheat death.
If you must drink,
Drink in the moments that take your breath away.
